Hey guys thank you so much for your patience on these projects as I and my family have been working hard to get things ready for me to move in! It’s hard to believe I’m actually in my house now. . .living a long dream. . . in a house of my own! God has been so gracious to me over the last few years. There is so much to be thankful for! Obviously! So let’s get started at the before and after pictures.
I do not have all of the pictures posted in this post. But more will come in time. I’m doing it by a few posts at a time!
Here is a picture of the after in my living room. Everything is new and just beautiful. Remember that old stone wall? You can’t see it anymore if you look over to the right that the wall is a solid regular wall now. How amazing? I’ll show a more up close of this wall in the next posts. So watch for those coming soon.
Here is a before picture of that same space. Can you see how much better it really looks?
Here is a second view of the before. You can see that all of that carpet had been taken out. Also between the dinning room and the living room, my father added a new wall, so that I could put my entertainment center on that wall.
This is one more look at the after. So what do you look of it now?
This is the after picture of the dinning room. Look on the right side of the screen, and you can now tell how that new wall looks too. It makes a definite division between the two rooms. That’s what I needed.
This is another view of the dinning room and more of an up-close photo. It’s the best I could get. I’m now going to show you an up-close photo of the picture and the words that are displayed on the wall.
This is a project that my mother helped me with. Isn’t it lovely? The picture itself I got from eBay. The frame, my mother purchased from Hobby Lobby, and it was on sale too. Got to love a great sale! The words were purchased online, and unfortunately, I don’t recall where I purchased them! Mom and I did an online search for the words and watched for the cheaper price of them. So that’s how we got them.
Here is another look at the before picture of what we have done to this dinning room. Can you see the differences? Isn’t it amazing?
I’m now going to show you some decorative things that we did to my kitchen. It isn’t the full after pictures, those will come in a new post soon. . .I promise. But you can really get an idea of how bad the house had been left unattended for some time does to a place. Can’t you?
Here is the before pictures of the kitchen. You can see the differences in the before and after choices of colors in a bit. But when I look at these, I’m feeling so blessed that my father took the time to do these things for me! What an awesome dad!
This photo is of some words from the Bible verse–Psalms 17:8. I bought this sticker from etsy.com. I hunted and hunted all over the web until I found one. It’s one of my favorite Bible verses. I used to be a teacher many years ago and some of my apple collections have remained with me from when I taught in school. I was not a regular teacher, I had only been a teacher’s assistant. But at the time, I loved my job, I in the last few years, have not always been well with my health, and for those reasons, I had to give the job up.
These are the cabinets that were in the house and we have not replaced them. But I’m showing up above at some of the decor in them. There will be more pictures of the kitchen coming soon. As you can tell I have apples everything! LOL!
I love these curtains that I purchased off of eBay. The colors in them really bring the dark green, and the light green together. That’s what makes them great in this kitchen!
This will be my final picture for this post. Just let me know what you think in the comments below. Thank you and hope you have enjoyed them as much as I am enjoying being in this home!
More pictures are coming in the next blog posts. Please watch for them, as I’m still organizing things around my house. So that is the reason I was a little late posting this, but thank you for your patience, and your prayers as well!
